Boiler Schedule
There are four boilers located in the penthouse and one located on the mezzanine. The boilers heat the water using natural gas. The inputs and outputs are shown in MBH. An MBH is the gas equivalent to 1000 BTUs. The four boilers in the penthouse can heat 120 gallons of water per minute. The boiler in the mezzanine can heat 7.2 gallons per minute of water.
Cooling Tower Schedule
The cooling tower on the roof cools water to a lower temperature and dissipates the heat to the air. The water enters the cooling tower at 97 degrees F and leaves at 85 degrees F. In can lower the temperature at a rate of 3162 gallons per minute. The cooling tower can also extract heat from the condenser and release it.

Water Source Heat Pumps
There are water source heat pumps in each apartment that heat and cool the residential spaces. Their nominal capactiy ranges from .6 to 10 tons.
Heat Exchanger
There are two heat exchangers on the penthouse that take the energy from the water to heat the supply air. They both have a capacity of 9,486 MBH.
